East End Film Society
supported by Film Academy
EEFS is a voluntary organisation that supports the interest of filmmaking in the East End of London, England. The primary objective of the EEFS is to facilitate the local filmmaker, and with the growing popularity of the website from visitors worldwide, EEFS is here to support the independent filmmaker.
Formed in 2004 by film consultant Duncan Isaac, EEFS now has over 700 members, including individuals and organisations from the Olympic London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham and surrounding areas.

EEFS has a vibrant pool of multi-cultural filmmaking talent and also offers a great opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals/groups working or starting out in film, from writers to directors to editors... and even actors.
There are not many ethnic minorities, women and disabled people employed in the UK film industry. EEFS has an equal opportunities policy in place which aims to nurture these unrepresented groups.
Membership to the East End Film Society is FREE for individuals and £20 per year for organisations. To become a member click on Subscribe. For all other enquiries click on Contact Us.
