This opportunity allows the winner and his team access to HD filming kits, 35MM lens adaptors, Crane, lighting, Avid Post production, everything needed to achieve a high end production for their next project, an ideal way to further support talent within our communities. While the Awards is held in Tower Hamlets, the huge influx of attendees transforms the borough to a celebration of Film and arts, which also is beneficial to the neighbouring Olympic boroughs, introducing and strengthening media, film & creativity at all levels. Limelight is organised by film makers for film makers, event director and local film maker Munsur Ali aims that by giving more support and providing platforms for creativity will encourage home grown talents, enhancing creative opportunities for young persons, whilst also producing our Danny Boyle’s of tomorrow. “Limelight will offer the much needed support and guidance to young film makers, allowing the expression and voices of people from all backgrounds to be seen and heard.” says Munsur.
